First, install the OpenManuals browser extension and turn on uploads in its settings. A download made without it isn't preserved.
Uploads are off in your extension. Turn them on so your download is preserved.
Your extension is ready. Download the manual there as usual; it's preserved on the Internet Archive automatically.

- The extension removes the site's watermark, uploads it to archive.org under your account, and records it here.
Each page is handed to one person at a time for a few hours, so helpers don't download the same manual. If the extension says it's already free to download, it was preserved in the meantime; take another.
